Unfortunately, home hospitality is available only for the band and caller -- we are a very small dance community! Affordable inns and hotels are available within walking distance from the dance (Landmark Inn & Mainstay Inn) with other motels & inns (Best Western, Super 8, Seven Roses Inn, The Raj Resort) and camping grounds 5-10 minutes from the dance. If you are interested in sharing a hotel or motel room with another dancer, you can use our facebook discussion page dedicated to this: Shared Housing Facebook Connection

Fairfield has an amazing amount to offer our visitors, from the largest community of Stapathya Vedic buildings in North America just north in Vedic City, to the Golden Meditation Domes at Maharishi University of Management to the greener-than-green Eco-Village with its earth-friendly designs and technologies.

NPR Report:: Youth Flock To Contra Dancing

Contra dancing has been around since the 1700s. If you don't know it -- it's kind of like square dancing but with long lines of dancers. The dance is having a renaissance around the country thanks to a thriving youth scene.
